“The Beast” is Fox 31’s weather truck, a force to compete with nature. The creation of this logo came with an air of fun and playfulness, while still maintaining the serious and powerful image of “The Beast”. The design took into consideration the usage and shape of this vehicle. The image of the beast is recognizable yet ambiguous. The imagination of the viewer is put into play, allowing “The Beast” to be whatever beast you’d like. The red is eye-catching contrast in any weather, making “The Beast” recognizable while doing what is meant to do.

Along with the creation of the logo, I created and managed a complete wrap of the vehicle. This design recognized the curves of the truck and emphasized them with custom teeth and scales, a striking element that has become a loved design at parades in Colorado.
