Logo design

This logo was used through 2024 to celebrate 20 years of Fathom Events (now Fathom Entertainment). The goal was to simplify their logo while maintaining their identity and alluding to the changes to come.

When creating this logo, I drew inspiration from the playfulness of the individual digits and let them dictate the dimension of the logo. Making the “20” the main focus let me encapsulate Fathom’s name within the 2 and the 0. The curve of the 2 helps define the readability of the logo while the 0 grounds “Fathom”.

ART DIRECTION

Along with the logo, all assets followed the same art direction and theme. For the 20-year anniversary, I decided to incorporate the hexagon, a direct connection to the light flares in the original logo. These hexagons wered use to define the constraints of the logo placement, as well as highlight important elements, such as copy. The addition of partner content and theatrical posters emphasize the variety and quantity of content Fathom is associated with.

My goal with the art direction and design of this 20-year celebration was to create a sense of abundance and quality in the brand, show grandeur in the name, and keep fun and vibrance in the content.
