Fathom’s Big Screen Classic is not a new but an evolved franchise. I was tasked to create the logo and rebrand the beloved collection and make it a recurring piece of Fathom Events’ (now Fathom Entertainment) inventory.

I took inspiration from the neon signs that adorned the golden age of Hollywood for the colors and animation and relied on Art Deco to provide some structure. The flicker of the lights and the strong bright lines gave me space to explore the vibrancy of each film.

I created multiple assets that continued this art direction, some of which are presented below.

Trailer intro: This animated intro is currently used in all film trailers in this franchise, both theatrical and social.

Series Standee: This was created to be placed in theater lobbies all over the country to advertise the franchise year-around.

Social Post: This was distributed to theaters and exhibitors nationwide to post on their social platforms.

These full screens where used in theaters as a calendar reminder of upcoming films in the franchise.
